SEATTLE PARK CONCEPT DESIGN
THE ADVANTAGES OF EXISTING CONDITIONS:
Surrouned by public space , nice and impressive building with well performance , connected with monorail station and also with valuable open space that draw people together, the site with it’s potential to be heart of activities and remarkable open space of seattle center, it’s shape will be formed clearly with function and connection with surrounding, therefore, the site will be turn into new vision for a part of open space system in seattle center, also will be main area for people to come, to stay, to enjoy and to remember
DESIGN STATEMENT:
Within the new context, this place should be the mix of urban park and art place with allowing many people to come, something to keep people to stay and enjoy more. our goal is try to turn open place with empty or no specific function into very attractive garden with human space, diversity in landscape with water, provide opportunities for people to come, with split up appropriated space with better scale for people. We suggested to change and upgrade all open space surrounding with connection to the site, aswe can define, what charecteristics of site should be. The program and analysis what we study will based on this ideas to go more detail on the solution for 3,5 ha at center of Seattle
